Tuckers is a traditional butcher, established in 1984 by Paul Tucker in the village of Penclawdd on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The business originally supplied the local community with fresh meat, frozen goods and groceries from the shop and through a home delivery service. Paul’s youngest son, Philip, joined the business in 2003 to learn his trade as a butcher.
We couple traditional butchery practices with modern cutting styles to produce high quality cuts of Gower meat suitable for any menu. Our meat is sourced as livestock from farms on Gower and surrounding areas and carry out all our butchery from carcass form, providing full traceability from farm to your door.
Game is a bit different and not as scary as many people think. Our Game range comes from from estates In Wales and border counties.
We sell venison, pheasant, partridge and wild boar. Perfect for roasting, stews and other hearty meals, game is full of flavour and a healthy option.
