Pheasant’s Hill Farm
We are able to supply you with a fantastic range of free range wild venison cuts when in season. We have sourced this fantastic venison from two herds on estates near us. We source both red deer and sika deer, which chefs consider to be superior in tenderness and flavour. The deer roam freely in woods and wild pasture and live outside all year long. As the deer graze on grass and mixed pasture, the meat is extremely low in cholesterol. Hung in our butchery for a minimum of two weeks, it is unbelievably tender. Venison is extremely lean, and so benefits from marinating for at least 24 hours to bring out the best flavour
We operate a farmshop and online store and we sell venison, pheasants, rabbits which are supplied to us by Clandeboye Estate, Bangor, Baronscourt Estate, Co Tyrone, and Finnebrogue Venison.
