For the second year Taste of Game has partnered with the National Trust to introduce a tasty game dish on to their autumn menu in their catering properties, this year it is a hearty and warming Game Lasagne.

The Game Lasagne made from a game mix which includes pheasant, venison and rabbit will be available all winter at most of their restaurants and cafes all over the country. It will be served with roasted vegetables.

Alongside the dish members and the general public will be pick up a recipe card so they can make the dish themselves at home.

Annette Woolcock Taste of Game Manager said ‘We are delighted to working with the National Trust again, we produced a great venison casserole for the last two years which was hugely popular in their restaurants and we are hoping this game casserole will be equally as popular with their member and the general public. It is a great example of a healthy, local and wild meat dish’
