London event kicks off Great British Game Week
The event will present an array of delicious, healthy and sustainable foods from a range of quality and unique UK producers.
Timed to commence at the start of the Great British Game Week, the event is being sponsored by The ETM Group and supported by both Game-‐to-‐Eat
and A Taste of Game.
The event will see exhibition stands from the likes of Cornish venison,Buckland venison, Hammond Charcuterie, Mud Pie,The Real Cure, Foxdenton, Wild
Game Co., The Game Chef, The Wild Food Catering Company, Spit & Roast, Great Glen Charcutuerie and The Country Food Trust who supply food
to the homeless.
The Free to attend one day event is set to offer a packed programme of demonstrations, tastings and presentations that will present everything good about this colourful and fast-‐developing
sector of the food industry.
Interest in game food has developed considerably over recent years with Mintel reporting that research shows the UK market expanding to
annual sales of £143m by 2020.
Although the Great British Game Week has been running for two years so far, there has not been a national event held to support the initiative.
