Taste of Game Dinner –

In conjunction with Taste of Game Week (24th to 30th November)

Our head chef, Clint Arnold has created a delightful menu featuring local game. 3 course menu priced at £21.95 per person or £31.95 per person with wine.

Starter
LOIN OF LOCAL RABBIT
wrapped in smoked streaky bacon, stuffed with local pheasant breast
served with a sloe, red wine and thyme sauce (served chilled)
Main Course
BREAST OF LOCAL WILD DUCK
with black cherry glaze, confit croquette, buttered savoy cabbage, carrots,
chive and spring onion mash and a cherry sauce
Pudding
PROPER CAVE AGED MATURE CHEDDAR CHEESE WITH POACHED COMICE PEAR
red onion chutney, local walnuts and cob nuts from next door to the pub!

£21.95 per person for all three courses (option1)
or
£31.95 per person to include all dinner wines and food (option 2)
