Long Ashton Village Hall
Feast with a Chef presents A Game Feast with Great British Menu star and chef/owner at the Kingham Plough.
Four courses plus coffee and homemade sweets £40.
Emily Watkins, chef and owner of The Kingham Plough in Oxfordshire will be cooking a four-course Game Feast in Long Ashton village hall, providing guests with the chance to try different game birds and animals cooked in a range of exquisite ways, as well as other exciting seasonal produce from the wonderful Cotswold larder. All for just £40 a head!
If Emily’s name sounds familiar it may be because she’s made two appearances on BBC2’s Great British Menu: last year she was runner up for the South West, with her main course getting 10 out of 10, while this year Emily made it all the way through to the final banquet – cooking her winning dish for D-Day veterans. Having studied for a degree in Bristol, Emily cut her culinary teeth in Italy, then under Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck when it won its 3rd Michelin star and was voted ‘Best restaurant in the world.’ So you can expect a treat. And Emily is Feast with a Chef’s first female chef too.
